Ahead of National Gardening Week 2024, we joined 13 other companies to carry out volunteering work at Reg’s Community Garden, the old station masters garden at Farnborough North Station.
A large-scale garden gifted by Reg and his family for the community to access and enjoy. The project was organised by the Community Matters Partnership which we are proud to say we are members of. The day involved clearing brambles, cutting back bushes, planting bulbs, mowing the grass amongst many other things and general maintenance to get this amazing community asset buzzing and ready for Spring.
The sun was out and the atmosphere was fantastic! Everyone left feeling a great sense of achievement for a day’s worth of very rewarding work. If you are ever in Farnborough or passing by, please pop in to see this wonderful garden.
We look forward to joining the Community Matters Partnership again in July for litter picking on Hayling Island beach and many more volunteering days after that!
