So, it is with a great deal of pleasure, and no little satisfaction that we are delighted to announce that following the recent ICAEW inspection of our audit files and procedures, Butt Miller has achieved the highest possible classification.
We are of course thrilled, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of our team for their hard work, dedication and skill in achieving such wonderfully high standards and consistently excellent results.
So why is this important to our clients and prospective clients, and why should we shout about it?
Well, it is always good to have independent verification of our professional abilities from our peers, it also helps to build and maintain trust, act as a fillip to everyone here at Butt Miller and perhaps most importantly, it demonstrates our commitment to achieving the highest possible professional standards.
But is that all?
No, we don’t think it is. Sometimes we are all guilty of being a little bit bashful about our achievements, it’s not considered polite to ‘blow one’s own trumpet’ when ‘self-praise is no praise’.
However, we would urge all of our friends, clients, stakeholders and indeed everybody involved in any type of business endeavour to shout about how good you are. Success attracts success and after all, if you have worked hard to win an award, attract a new piece of business or be recognised in any way, let people know about it and allow them to share in your success.
So, let’s stop hiding good news under a bushel.
